In 1994, Meckley Services, Inc. was founded by Kenneth A. Meckley as a full-service Services Company to meet the Commercial Building repair and maintenance needs of commercial facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region. Offering direct support to property managers and becoming a partner in providing general services became the foundation of the business. The success was resounding, creating a premier service company in Norther Virginia and Richmond.

In 2008, Meckley embarked on a mission to add a formative Construction Division to its impressive service portfolio. The success of this division solidified Meckley as a top-tier Service and General Contractor servicing the needs of premier clients in the Mid-Atlantic.

Our increased talent and capabilities produced opportunities for expansion beyond our original office adding branches in Baltimore, Virginia Beach, Winchester and our latest office in Charlotte, NC with plans for future growth.

As CEO, Kenneth’s commitment to quality and client satisfaction is evident in the company’s stellar reputation for exceeding industry standards. His hands-on leadership style and strategic vision have diversified and expanded Meckley Services Inc’s offerings, making it a go-to full-service provider for commercial facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region. Beyond business, Kenneth is actively involved in philanthropy, reflecting his commitment to community development and sustainable practices. With nearly three decades of success, Kenneth Meckley continues to lead Meckley Services Inc towards continued growth and prominence in the construction and service industry.

Jay joined Meckley Services in 2008 with extensive experience in managing commercial real estate construction and executive leadership in the construction of mission critical facilities.  As Vice President of Construction,  Jay has played an integral role in the development and expansion of the Meckley Construction Division throughout the entire Mid-Atlantic and South.  Jay received a B.S degree in Business Administration and Political Science from High Point University.

Daniel Johnson joined Meckley Services in 2019 with 13-years’ experience in commercial construction. He is a seasoned manager & leader with vast commercial electrical knowledge. He also coaches high school basketball part-time. His determination, leadership & organization skills have contributed to company growth. Outside the office you can find Daniel coaching basketball, golfing or attending live sporting events.

Since joining Meckley in 2013, Paula oversees Meckley’s financial functions including sales & use tax, proper reporting to all tax authorities, accounting, and job costing. Additionally, Paula is responsible for overseeing banking and finance activities. Also functioning as the Human Resource Manager, she and her team handle WC audits and other complex HR issues that may arise.

Chris Pustorino has  18 years of experience with a strong background in the commercial and industrial cosntruction .  Chris began his career as an electrical apprentice with the IBEW.  Chris has spent the past ten years working as a construction manager taking on progressively more complex projects for his clients.  Chris’ project management experience includes projects industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, data centers, hospitals, and high rise buildings.  When Chris isn’t working, you will find him at the soccer fields supporting his son and daughter and their travel soccer teams.

Tom’s early professional career was spent in the commercial nuclear power industry, where he traveled to over 20 different stations in the US helping clients solve difficult water processing challenges. Eventually, migrating to sales, he found that his project management & technical solutions experience served him well in the commercial & industrial arena. Over the past 20 + years, his clients have been helped with varied process issues including, pump, pneumatics, and temporary climate control needs. He currently serves as the Sales Manager for AK Meckley Rentals.

When Tom is not working, he enjoys time with his wife, children, and grandchildren in the Tidewater region of Virginia. He is also an avid road cyclist averaging over 2000 miles of riding per year as well as a backpacker, systematically hiking the Appalachian Trail. Tom is the founding Chairman of the Tidewater Trails Alliance (501c 3 nonprofit), whose mission it is to build out the Birthplace of America Trail. This multiuse trail system is the approved VDOT active transportation plan for Hampton Roads region of Virginia.
